Wayne C. Mohr Obituary
Banning, CA - Wayne C. Mohr, 80, of Banning, California, sadly passed away on April 12, 2026, after a lengthy battle with Parkinsonism and dementia.
Wayne was born to parents Dorothy (Moss) and Leonard Mohr in San Francisco, California, on October 21, 1945. He was the youngest of three boys; his brothers, Kenneth and Gary, preceded him in death.
He earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from UC Davis and went on to receive two master's degrees in engineering and management from USC. He devoted 36 years of service to the City of Los Angeles as a Civil Engineer. Wayne deeply loved his profession and proudly maintained his Professional Engineer license throughout his life.
Wayne and his wife, Linda, shared a love of travel and were blessed to visit all seven continents. Of all the places they explored, Antarctica was his favorite.
Above all, Wayne cherished his family, especially his grandkids. Although his family lived across the country, Wayne never missed a birthday, dance performance, or sporting event. One of his most treasured memories was being chosen by his only granddaughter as her Special Person for Valentine's Day.
Wayne's faith in Christ guided him throughout his life. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, intelligence, and deep love for God's word.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Linda (Sibbing); daughter Jennifer (Biagio) Boscaino; son Kevin (Meghan) Mohr; and his five grandchildren.
