Yucca Valley, California - Gracie Sarah Howard was born on May 10,1940 in Banning, California. The baby of the family she was born on her sister Marian's birthday which formed a forever bond between the two of them. Gracie was predeceased by her beautiful daughter, Mandy and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hill and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gracie passed away on March 18,2026 in Yucca Valley, California at the age of 85 and was surprised at having lived so long, remarking that had she known she was going to live so long she would have taken better care of herself. We will miss her easy laugh, sense of humor and zest for life.

For the past 29 years she proudly owned and operated The Rib Co restaurant along with her daughter, Lisa Hill and granddaughter, Jennifer Faulkner.

Gracie loved to travel and found great joy in seeing the world for the past 21 years with her dear friend Terry Hunt. The highlight of her life was spending time with family and friends near and far which included her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as her numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her precious "gang" from kindergarten who maintained and cherished 80 years of friendship.

Gracie enjoyed a life filled with love and special memories that always brought a smile and a quick and ready laugh of sheer happiness.
